MAN… it has been awhile since I have posted here, even the archives are saying who the hell are you?! My guess is more than half of you never expected to see my name here again, so, here is my post.

This game, as opposed to the other N64 games I’ve reviewed, is actually pretty decent. I rented it for like a week when it originally came out and beat it in roughly two days, so I decided I’d give it another go and just play it on the computer. And apparently, you can get this game on the Wii, not that anyone actually uses their Wii anymore. Definitely worth getting if you’re someone who does that type of thing though. Here we go.

So, I figure it’s about time to blog about this: I’m planning on taking a year off before college to go on a year-long foreign exchange through Rotary International. That means applying to college like normal, but after getting accepted, requesting that they defer my enrollment for 1 year while I travel. Almost all colleges are OK with letting you do this, and many encourage it, but it’s not something that you tell them when applying, because they won’t want to admit you if they KNOW you can’t even go that year. Weird how that works…

It seems every time some random person asks “How was your summer?”, or “What did you do this summer?” I usually just reply with “Not much.” or something similar. Not because I actually did nothing over the summer, but because the person asking really doesn’t give a shit what I did and it would be a complete waste of my time telling them (I realize this isn’t always the case, but it happens a lot). I’d rather just have them stop talking to me, but now I’ve decided that I’m actually going to tell you some of the things I actually did accomplish this summer, along with some of my slightly pessimistic expectations for the coming school year. So continue reading if you like.

well, i haven’t written a blog in QUITE a long time, but that’s basically because I haven’t had much to say that I really considered BLOG-worthy. But now I do! It’s my $7.15/hr, 40-hr week job at McDonald’s! And we get some pretty…um…interesting?…customers. Read the rest of this entry »

Well yesterday Jim, Chad, and I took the trip down to the Darien Performing Arts Center for the Warped Tour. Basically it was just a bunch of bands who each played for about a half hour at different stages, they played mostly played alternative/puck/emo? rock, but there were some ska bands, and some crappy rap too (I felt the need to voice my opinions). The real reason I went though was to see Oreskaband (オレスカバンド) who are an all-female ska band from Osaka, Japan.

This summer I was planning on getting a job, but I really wasn’t sure if that was actually going to happen or not, but now I finally did get a job at PC Trend (computer repair place fyi) not too far from where I live.

Well I finally finished transferring the site over to the new server today (everything was actually moved before, but the domain took quite a few days to transfer). I moved everything to Dreamhost which seems to be a pretty big and reliable company, so the site should be a bit faster now. Also all email address have been transferred, but I need to give you a temporary password to login with for the first time, so IM me or something to get that if you have an email address at lawlzoids.com.
Anyway, I just wanted to update everyone with what was going on since the site had been down for a few days.
EDIT: The forums were still down when I published this, they should be back up now.

I can’t believe we’re finally able to get a first hand experience of Spore, but the day has finally come and the Spore Creature Creator was finally released! I just downloaded it a few hours ago and have been messing with it quite a lot. So far it’s amazing, and it’s just the demo version.

Saturday, I worked with Adam at the house of some insane francaises.
He told me he had an offer to do some yardwork for an older couple, shoveling gravel. I took up his offer because he said we’d get paid, and also because it’s good to have a job and get out of the house, etc.
